Deep into the #covid_19 pandemic, there is a lot of fear, anxiety, and stress.
Stress suppresses the immune system.
I was asked to share this breathing technique in yesterday's Live, so here it is.
I love this simple breathing practice because it makes me proactive and less reactive.
It rebalances the sympathetic nervous system, that place of fight-flight-freeze.
Take 5 minutes to practice this breathing whenever you are feeling scared, you need to connect to your immune intelligence, your inner divinity, that inner wisdom.
I learned the 4-7-8 breath from @drweil
His teaching is so simple: Inhale through your nose for a 4 count, hold your breath for a 7 count, and then exhale through your mouth for an 8 count.
Do 4 rounds of it. Not more than 4, not less than 4. Listen to the end to find out why this is important.
